The Indian Institute of Management (IIM Lucknow) is scheduled to release the Common Aptitude Test (CAT 2023) admit cards on the official website, iimcat.ac.in, on October 25. The CAT 2023 examination will take place in three shifts on November 26. The CAT 2023 question paper will be structured into three sections: verbal ability and reading comprehension, data interpretation and logical reasoning and quantitative ability. Candidates will have 40 minutes allotted for each section, making the entire exam duration 120 minutes. It's important to note that during a section, candidates will not have the option to switch between sections.


Record 3.3 Lakh Registrations


The Common Admission Test 2023 (CAT 2023) witnessed a remarkable 30% surge in registrations compared to the previous year, with approximately 3.3 lakh aspirants vying for MBA admission in the prestigious Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) across the country, ABP Live has learnt. This year, new cities have been added to the list of test centres, the application ecosystem will be "more user-friendly", and some IIMs will give extra weightage to non-engineer and women candidates, according to Dr. Sanjeet Singh, Professor, Decision Sciences Area, IIM Lucknow, who is the CAT 2023 Convener.


The number of participants in CAT has seen a steady increase over the years, with 3.3 lakhs taking the exam in 2023, compared to 2.55 lakhs in 2022, 2.3 lakhs in 2021, 2.28 lakhs in 2020, and 2.44 lakhs in 2019.
