New Delhi: The Indian Institute of Management, IIM, has issued a notification about the Common Admission Test, CAT on Sunday, July 31 which said that the exams will be held on November 27. The registration process will begin on August 3 at 10 am and close on September 14 at 5 pm. The interested candidates can apply on the official website - iim.ac.in. 

The CAT exam is a national-level exam conducted for admission in various Postgraduate and Fellow/Doctorate programmes in various IIM institutions around India – Ahmedabad, Amritsar, Bangalore, Bodh Gaya, Calcutta, Indore, Jammu, Kashipur, Kozhikode, Lucknow, Nagpur, Raipur, Ranchi, Rohtak, Sambalpur, Shillong, Sirmaur, Tiruchirappalli, Udaipur, Visakhapatnam – and other listed non-IIM member institutions.

CAT will be conducted in test centres spread across around 150 cities and a candidate will be given the option to select any six test cities in order of their preference. The fee for the application is Rs 1150 for SC, ST and PwD category candidates, and Rs 2300 for all other categories of candidates.

The candidates applying for CAT 2022 should have a bachelor’s degree with at least 50 per cent marks or equivalent CGPA.
