Calcutta High Court Recruitment 2019: The High Court of Calcutta has released a notification on the official website calcuttahighcourt.gov.in, inviting applications to fill 200 Lower Division Assistant vacancies on the Original Side and on the Appellate Side establishments of the High Court. The recruitment process is on purely temporary basis but these posts are like to get permanent. The application process has begun and interested candidates can apply online on or before 19^th January 2019.

Important Dates:

Submission of online application process ends – 19^th January 2019

The start date for downloading admit cards is – 9^th February 2019

The end date for downloading admit cards is – 24^th February 2019

The tentative date for OMR based written examination is – 24^th February 2019

The tentative date of the publication of category wise  merit list is – 10^th March 2019

Eligibility Criteria:

Academic Qualifications:

The applicant must have passed class 12th from the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Examination or should have completed its Equivalent examination from a recognized Council/Board. The applicant must be knowledgeable about the vernacular of the State.

Age-Limit:

The applicant must fall in the age bracket of 18 to 40 years as on 1^st January 2018. Age-relaxation rules apply as stated in the official advertisement given below.

Selection Process:

Candidates will be selected on the basis of Preliminary Screening Test, Written Test, and Viva-Voice Test.

Pay Scale:

The selected candidate will be placed in the pay scale of Rs. 5,400 to Rs. 25,200/- per month with grade pay of Rs. 2,600/-
