The state education board was earlier scheduled to release the Class 12 results at 1 pm which then got postponed due to some technical glitch on the website. At around 3 pm, BSEB officials arrived for the press conference. BSEB chairman Anand Kishor and RK Mahajan of Bihar education department declared the results jointly.

Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has finally declared the results of intermediate or Class 12 board examinations today. A total of 79.66 per cent students have cleared the exam. The Intermediate scores for Arts, Science and Commerce are now available on the official website - bsebssresults.com and other result websites. As per reports, 76.5 per cent students have passed in Arts stream whereas the pass percentage for Commerce and Science stream stands at 93.02 and 81.20 per cent, respectively. A total of 4,25,500 students passed in Arts stream, 59,153 in Commerce and 5,35,110 in Science. As per reports, Pawan Kumar topped the Class 12 Science exams with 473 marks (94.6 per cent). Sushil Goeni Rani topped the Arts stream with 493 marks (92.6 per cent).
