With regards to the class 10 exam, the CBSE will take the best of three subjects and the average will be taken into consideration while formulating the CBSE class 12 results 2021. For class 11, the unit exam, term exam and final exam will be taken into account while deducing the marks. For 12th students, practical exams will be taken into consideration. In short, the CBSE has adopted the 30:30:40 formula to evaluate the students of the CBSE class 12 board. According to the Attorney General, 30% of weightage will be given to the final result of class 10th and 11th examination, and 40% weightage will be provided to the pre-board exam of class 12th. Board Exam 2021: CBSE To Submit Evaluation Criterion For Class 12 Students To SC Today

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to submit the objective criterion based on which students of the CBSE class 12 board will be evaluated this year to the Supreme Court today. The apex court has provided two weeks to the board to come up with the CBSE Class 12 assessment criterion based on which students will be awarded marks this year.

A division bench led by Justice AM Khanwilkar and Justice Dinesh Maheshwari is scheduled to hear the petition at 11 am today. The petition was filed by Advocate Mamta seeking cancellation of the CBSE and ICSE Class 12 board exams and the plea seeking the cancellation of the Class 12 State Boards, HSC, and NIOS physical exams were filed by Child rights activist Anubha Srivastava and 7 others.


The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE) are expected to submit the evaluation criterion for the students of class 12 to SC today.


Earlier, on June 1, the board had canceled the CBSE class 12 board examination amidst the continuing upsurge in covid-19 cases across the country. The decision to cancel the CBSE class 12 board examination 2021 came after the high-level meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi regarding the class 12 board examination that was held on Tuesday, June 1, 2021, evening. The apex court had expressed its satisfaction regarding the Central government's decision to cancel the class 12 board exam. The court had further directed the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE) to come up with the well-framed objective criterion based on which the students of the class 12 board will be evaluated this year.
