NEET UG 2024 Result Controversy: The Lucknow bench of the Allahabad High Court on Wednesday directed both the National testing Agency (NTA) and National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (UG) 2024 aspirant Ayushi Patel to furnish original documents before the court to substantiate what is her correct Application number.

Shashank Bhasin, counsel appearing for NTA produced the original OMR Sheet, Attendance Sheet and the Score Card of the Ayushi before the court for perusal, which were also taken on record. On the papers submitted by NTA, the application number of the petitioner is 240411340741. The petitioner herself has signed on such papers, which shows that she is acknowledging her application number as 240411340741, Bhasin told the court.

The counsel appearing for Ayushi Patel contended that her Application Number for NEET-UG, 2024 of the petitioner is 240411840741.

Patel has submitted her documents and mails exchanged between her and NTA in the court.

The court noted that the Application number claimed by Ayushi is consistent in the photocopy of one e.mail relating to NTA NEET UG EXAM 2024 sent by one Deshraj Singh addressed to her apprising her that NTA received damaged (torn) OMR on the same Application Form Number.

Ayushi also submitted in court a copy of an e-mail sent to NEET wherein she has indicated the same application number.

Ayushi's counsel counsel also submitted a photocopy of the some documents/ mails being exchanged between the petitioner and the NTA wherein the same application number has been indicated. However, the original papers of the petitioner produced by NTA's counsel Shashank Bhasin indicates the different Application Form Number as 240411340741.

NTA's counsel further told the court that he is unable to understand as to why the petitioner is indicating another application number in her mails than the number which has been acknowledged by her on the original papers.

the high court noted that a careful perusal of all documents reveal that all the numbers shown in the Application Form of the Ayushi Patel are the same except the middle digit/number 3 mentioned in the original Application Form, whereas the details provided by
Ayushi contains the digit/number as 8.

When asked to explain the same, the NTA's counsel asked for three days to seek complete written instructions on that point and produce all original documents of the petitioner from the stage of her application form till declaration of result as well as the documents with regard to e.mail communication with NEET.

The court also directed Ayushi to produce all her original documents enclosed with the petition.
