The Andhra Pradesh University is set to begin the online application process for Andhra Pradesh State Eligibility Test, APSET 2020 from August 14. Eligible candidates who wish to apply for APSET 2020 may submit their application form through online mode on the official website - www.apset.net.in.

Steps To Apply For APSET 2020:

Step 1: Eligible candidates will have to visit the official website of APSET - apset.net.in.

Step 2: Click on the link that reads Applications for Lecturers and Professors.

Step 3: Complete the registration process by filling all the required details asked in the application form.

Step 4: Carefully read all the details that you have filled and then click on the Submit tab.

Step 5: Save the form for future reference.

APSET 2020 Important Dates:

The Andhra Pradesh State Eligibility Test (APSET) for the year 2020 will be held on December 6, 2020 in accordance with the GOMs 47 of Higher Education Department, CE and Re-accreditation of UGC.

The application process for the same starts on August 14, 2020. The last date for registration for APSET 2020 is September 19, 2020.

Candidates who wish to apply for APSET 2020 are advised to submit the application form along with the due fee on time to avoid extra/late charges.

APSET 2020 Registration Fee

The candidates can pay the registration fee through payment gateway - Credit Card, Debit Card or Net Banking.

  • The registration fee for the General and EWS categories is Rs 1,200.

  • The registration fee for the Backward Classes (B.C. category) is Rs 1000.

  • The registration fee for the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Transgender, persons with disability (PwD) category is Rs 700.


APSET 2020 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who have secured at least 55 percent marks (without rounding off) in Master’s Degree or equivalent examination from universities/institutions recognized by UGC are eligible for this Test.

The Backward Classes, Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Transgender, persons with disability (PwD) category candidates who have secured at least 50 percent marks (without rounding off) in Master’s degree or equivalent examination are eligible for this Test. There is no upper age limit for applying for eligibility for the test.

The qualified candidates are eligible to apply for the post of Assistant Professor only in the universities/ colleges situated in the Andhra Pradesh state from where they have cleared their SET.
