AP TET 2024: The School Education Department, Andhra Pradesh will close the AP TET application window for the Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test today, August 3, 2024. Candidates can participate in the AP TET 2024 registration process by today. The registration process started on July 3, 2024. Interested candidates can visit the official website to participate in the AP TET 2024 registration process. The AP TET 2024 examination was originally scheduled from August 5 to 20, 2024 but it was postponed to  October 3 to 20, 2024. According to the official announcement, the exam was postponed to provide candidates more time to prepare for the AP TET examination.


AP TET Registration 2024: Steps To Apply


Candidates can follow the below-given steps to apply for the AP TET 2024 examination:


Step 1: Visit the official website at aptet.apcfss.in.


Step 2: On the homepage, navigate to the 'Application Form' link.


Step 3: Click on that link.


Step 4: Pay the required application fee.


Step 5: Fill out the application form with the necessary details.


Step 6: Upload the documents and review your application form.


Step 7: Click on 'Submit'.


Step 8: Download the confirmation page for your future reference.

AP TET 2024: Exam Pattern


AP TET 2024 examination will be conducted for 2 hours and 30 minutes. Candidates can check the paper 1 and paper 2 exam pattern below:


Paper 1



  • Language One: 30 questions

  • Mathematics: 30 questions

  • Environmental Studies: 30 questions

  • Child Development and Pedagogy: 30 questions

  • English: 30 questions


Paper 2

  • APTET July exam application window: July 3 to August 3, 2024

  • Mock test: September 19 onwards

  • AP TET hall ticket: September 22, 2024

  • Provisional answer key release date: October 4 onwards (one day after each exam)

  • Final answer key: October 27, 2024
