The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released a revised cut-off for Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC), Pune, for NEET UG Counselling Round-1. The screening process for MBBS admission at AFMC, Pune, which began on August 27, saw a low number of reporting candidates, and many of those who did report were deemed unfit in the medical tests. As a result, a revised cut-off has been issued to call more students.

Career Counselling expert Parijat Mishra noted that previously, AFMC Pune had set the screening cut-off at 681/720 for female candidates and 666/720 for male candidates. On August 30, AFMC Pune released an additional list on its website, revising the cut-off to 675/720 for female candidates and 656/720 for male candidates.

Mishra mentioned that the revised shortlisted candidates must confirm their participation by sending an email with the subject “Willingness to Participate in NEET UG 2024 AFMC MBBS Admission Screening,” including their NEET UG roll number and score, to AFMC’s official email ID by 6:00 PM on August 31, 2024.

Candidates must report to AFMC Pune according to their schedule, which includes participating in the TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language), psychological test, and personal interview. After clearing these stages, a final merit list will be prepared, based on which 125 male candidates and 25 female candidates will be admitted.
