Tanishka Sujit from Madhya Pradesh's Indore is all set to appear for the final year exams of the Bachelor of Arts (BA) at the age of just 15. Tanishka aims to pursue law after this and become Chief Justice of India (CJI). She recalled how Prime Minister Narendra Modi encouraged her to pursue her dreams when she met him in Bhopal during Combined Commanders' Conference. When she told PM Modi about her dream of studying law in the US after clearing the BA exams and then becoming the Chief Justice of India, he encouraged her while suggesting that she should visit the Supreme Court and watch the arguments of lawyers as it would motivate her to achieve the goal.


While talking to the news agency PTI, Tanishka said, "On hearing about my aim, the prime minister advised me to go to the Supreme Court and watch the arguments of lawyers there as it would motivate me to achieve my goal. Meeting the prime minister was a dream come true for me."


The young girl passed the exams of Class 12 at the age of 13 straightaway after clearing Class 10 with first division. 


Head of the Department of Social Science Studies at the Devi Ahilya University, Rekha Acharya while talking to PTI said that Tanishka was given admission to BA (Psychology) first year at the mere age of 13 after she excelled in the entrance test of the university. They treated her as a special case and got Tanishka enrolled as a student at the university officially.

Unfortunately, she lost her father and grandfather to COVID-19 in 2020. Her mother Anubha while talking about the tragic event said that she fought and overcame the grief for the sake of her daughter, who continued to excel in academics.

"After losing both family members, I was left clueless. After two-three months, I felt that I should take care of my daughter's studies for the sake of her future and have to fight for this,” PTI quoted her as saying.


Tanishka Sujit will appear for her BA final year exams from April 19 to 28, reported PTI. After the results are announced, Tanishka will become the youngest graduate.
