SSC JE Recruitment 2018 notification was scheduled to be released today i.e. 28th January 2019; however, as per a latest update released by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC), the detailed SSC JE Recruitment 2018 notification will now be hosted on 1st February 2019. SSC had earlier notified the registration dates in the employment news, as per which the last date to submit online applications for Junior Engineers (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical and Quantity Surveying & Contract) Examination-2018 was 25th February 2019. No changes to the last date have been notified by the SSC in its latest notice.

SSC CGL 2017 Exam: A petition was filed in the SC after the paper leak incident was reported. The top court observed that it is impossible to identify and catch hold of all the candidates who might have benefited from the SSC CGL 2017 paper leak and therefore favoured cancelling the 2017 SSC examination, whose declaration of results it had stayed in August, and holding it afresh by the National Testing Agency (NTA) or the CBSE "in the interest of students".
