Interestingly, the top 18 scorers of the Bihar Board Class 10 exam are from Simultala Awasiya Vidyalaya, Jamui. Soon after the results were declared, questions started raising regarding the toppers. As per the report by the Indian Express, principal Rajiv Ranjan has said that he 'ready for the investigation'. Speaking to IE, Ranjan said, 'As the school is a government entity, they have no vested interests behind the results. The school is open for any kind of investigation.'
This year, no female candidate could make it to the top 10 rank holder list.

10th result 2019 Bihar Board: Sawan Raj Bharti from Simultala Awasiya Vidyalaya, Jamui has scored 486 marks out of 500. He manages to secure the first position with 97.2 per cent. Top 5 rank holders are from Simultala Awasiya Vidyalaya, as per the reports.

What is BSEB?
The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) is a statutory body of Bihar School Examination Board Act, 1952. It functions under Bihar government and is instituted to conduct examinations at the secondary and senior secondary level in both government and private schools.

Bihar board BSEB 10th results 2019: Top scorers to get a cash prize of Rs 1 lakh
First Prize:The toppers will be given a cash prize of Rs 1 lakh each. They will also be awarded a laptop and a Kindle e-reader.
Second and Third Prize: The second and third topper will get a cash prize of Rs 75,000 and Rs 50,000 each.
Fourth and Fifth Prize: 4th and 5th rank holder from each stream will get Rs 15,000 and a laptop each.
This year, around 16 lakh students had appeared for the Bihar intermediate Class 10 exams.

Bihar intermediate exam
Bihar Board class 12 results were declared last week, on March 30.The pass percentage of the Intermediate examination this year was 79.76 per cent while last year it was 52.71 per cent.
Rohini Prakash topped the science stream with 473 marks out of total 500 while Rohini Rani topped the arts stream with 463 marks and Satyam Kumar topped the commerce stream with 472 marks.
This year 16,60,609 students registered for the BSEB matric examination in the state, out of which 8,37,075 were girls and 8,23,534 were boys.

This year, a total of 16 lakh 60 thousand 609 candidates were registered for BSEB Matric board exam. The exam was conducted from February 21 to 28. There were 1418 exam centres all around the state.
