Swati Maliwal news: AAP Rajya Sabha MP Swati Maliwal on Wednesday accused the top brass of the Aam Aadmi Party of pressuring senior leaders to speak against her. She was informed of the situation within the party by a senior AAP leader. She also said that the senior leaders were being forced to release her personal photos. She said it was a tact to "break" her.
In an X post on Wednesday, Swati Maliwal said: "Yesterday, I got a call from a senior leader of the party. He told me how there is a lot of pressure on everyone, they have to speak dirty against me. They have to break me by leaking my personal photos."

Swati Maliwal and the AAP came at loggerheads after the Rajya Sabha MP accused Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal's aide Bibhav Kumar of abusing and assaulting her at the CM's residence. Bibhav was arrested in the case and was sent to five days in police custody. The police accused Bibhav Kumar of formatting his phone after the case came to the fore and transferring the data to another device. He was taken to Mumbai for investigation and then brought back to Delhi on Wednesday.
"The leader told me that whoever supports her will be expelled from the party. Someone has been given the duty of doing Press Conferences and another person has been entrusted with the charge of tweeting [posting on X]," she said.
Swati Maliwal further alleged that the senior AAP leaders are being asked to call volunteers in the US and get something out against her. She even accused the AAP of orchestrating fake sting operations. "You may raise an army of thousands; I shall face it alone because the truth is with me. I am not angry with them. The accused is a very powerful man. Even the biggest leaders are afraid of him. No one has the courage to take a stand against him. I don't even expect anything from anyone."
She further seemed to target Delhi minister Atishi, accusing her of being part of the alleged conspiracy. Without naming Atishi, Swati Maliwal's post further read: "I feel sad that a woman minister of Delhi is smilingly maligning the character of an old female colleague of the party. I have started a fight for my self-respect; I shall continue to fight until I get justice. I am completely alone in this fight but I will not give up." Atishi on Wednesday said that the BJP was using Swati Maliwal to defame Arvind Kejriwal.
The AAP is yet to issue a formal response to Swati Maliwal's latest allegations.
