New Delhi: A new CCTV video of Delhi Minister and AAP leader Satyendar Jain from Tihar jail has surfaced on social media. The video shows suspended superintendent of Delhi's Tihar Jail Ajit Kumar speaking to the jailed AAP minister.

Imprisoned conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar had accused the Superintendent of jail number 7, where Jain is imprisoned, of extending improper favours.

Following this, the Jail Superintendent was suspended. "He has prima facie been found to have committed irregularities that warrant inquiry," Prison department of the Delhi Government stated, as reported by news agency ANI.

The jailed AAP minister was previously seen getting elaborate meals and massages inside the Tihar Jail.

"Unknown people were giving Jain massages and foot massages after curfew. He received special food," stated S V Raju, Additional Solicitor General (ASG) representing the ED, as quoted by news agency PTI.

Jain moved an application in Delhi Court seeking direction to restrain media to air/broadcasting any clip of CCTV related to him.

His counselor, Senior Advocate Rahul Mehra also alleged that the Enforcement Directorate was leaking sensitive information to the media despite the order of the trial court and undertaking given in the court.

"I am defamed every single minute by their act," Jain said.

Mehra also rejected the allegation by the ED that Jain is receiving privileged treatment inside Tihar Jail. "What privilege are they talking about," he asked.

"I have lost 28 kg in jail. Is this what a privileged person in jail gets? I'm not even getting proper food. What privilege are they talking about? No prison rules are violated if an undertrial is pressing his hand or feet," said Satyendar Jain.

Notably, Director General (Prisons) Sandeep Goel was transferred from the Tihar Jail, days after conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar alleged extortion of Rs 10 crore for protection in prison by Goel and Jain.

The allegations were dismissed by the Aam Aadmi Party.
