Delhi Weather: Several flights and trains were delayed in the national capital on Wednesday due to bad weather and fog, causing problems for the passengers.






The delay in trains comes as parts of Delhi continue to witness foggy conditions on Tuesday. A thin layer of fog engulfed the city as coldwave conditions continued to prevail in northern Indian states.






According to ANI, Delhi airport has been facing significant flight disruptions caused by dense fog and adverse weather conditions. Delhi Airport FIDS (Flight Information Display System) has said that there are delays in 22 international departures, 20 international arrivals, 31 domestic arrivals, and 46 domestic departures. 






Speaking on the train delay a passenger Narendra said, "Our train is very late. I had booked Bhopal Express for 8.30 pm. It was then rescheduled for 3 am. When we reached the station at 3 am, we came to know that the train is not running today. We are continuously waiting."






Meanwhile, parts of Uttar Pradesh also witnessed coldwave and foggy conditions. A layer of thin fog engulfed Moradabad in UP.






On Tuesday, Delhi recorded a maximum temperature of 19.5 degrees Celsius, a notch below the season's average while the minimum temperature settled at 6.9 degrees Celsius, a notch below the season's average, according to the India Meteorological Department.


According to the Indian Railways, 28 Delhi-bound trains were delayed by one to five hours due to fog in parts of northern India on Tuesday morning.
