The Delhi Police recovered at least seven homemade grenades in the Holambi Kalan area of outer Delhi on Monday. In connection with this, the police have detained several people. The police are investigating the case to find out who kept the grenades there and why they were hidden there. Police have not discovered any terror or gangster links as of yet, and a preliminary investigation is underway.
"Our teams have found seven-eight country-made grenades in the Holambi Kalan area and have detained a few suspects in this regard," a senior police officer was quoted as saying by PTI.
According to him, the suspects are being questioned in order to determine the origin of the grenades and other details.
