New Delhi: A video has emerged capturing the quick action of Delhi Police Constable Sachin from Sadar police station, who caught a pickpocket in the act of stealing a biker's wallet. The footage showed a young boy attempting to steal the biker's wallet under the pretext of helping him start his vehicle.
However, Constable Sachin noticed the suspicious behavior and sprang into action, apprehending the thief before he could succeed in his theft attempt.
The official took to social median and shared it on X, ''While on patrolling duty in Police Station Sadar Bazaar area, Constable Sachin suspected a cognizable offence and ran and caught the person and arrested him,'' the caption read.
However, the date and location of the incident is not known.
Notably, the video garnered more than 160,000 views, 2,000 likes, and hundreds of comments since its circulation. Internet users have lauded the constable for his quick thinking, attentiveness, and agility in apprehending the thief. Many have highlighted the importance of having vigilant and proactive police officers like Constable Sachin to deter and thwart crimes in the city.
