A 19-year-old boy died after he was allegedly stabbed by a minor in Northeast Delhi's Welcome Police Station area on Thursday night. The accused has been arrested by the police, reported PTI. The deceased's elder brother Sameer said that they rushed him to the hospital where he was declared brought dead. He added that the minor accused was earlier named in several criminal cases.

"There was no animosity. He (my son) didn't even know him (the minor accused). Both (the deceased and his friend) were playing when the boys (referring to the accused) came in inebriated state and started fighting with them and stabbed (him)," Hamid, father of the boy who was stabbed to death, told PTI.

In another incident, a 25-year-old man was arrested by Delhi police for allegedly uploading a minor girl's private pictures on social media with obscene audio clips. The accused was nabbed from Kabir Nagar. He told the police that he committed the offence to defame the family and take revenge on the victim's elder sister for refusing his marriage proposal, PTI reported citing police.

Taling about the case, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Northeast) Joy Tirkey said the victim's mother filed a complaint on May 29. The woman said in the complaint that a person used a fake social media account to upload private pictures of her minor daughter with obscene audio clips. Police said an FIR was registered under relevant provisions of the Information Technology Act and Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act.
