A Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) employee allegedly killed his wife and daughter before hanging himself on Tuesday, news agency PTI reported citing officials. A PCR call was received around 12 PM from a Delhi Metro employee who stated that when he reached out to his colleague Sushil Kumar (43), who did not come to the office, he was crying over the phone and stated that he had killed everyone, according to a senior police officer.
The incident occurred in Jyoti Colony, Shahdara district, North East Delhi.
When police arrived at Kumar's house, they discovered three bodies.
Kumar was discovered hanging from the ceiling, while his wife Anuradha (43) and six-year-old daughter had stab wounds, according to Deputy Commissioner of Police (Shahdara) Rohit Meena.
Kumar's 13-year-old son was also stabbed and is currently receiving treatment, he said.
Kumar worked as a maintenance supervisor for the DMRC at the East Vinod Nagar depot, according to police.

Kumar appears to have murdered his wife and daughter before committing suicide. The DCP stated that an additional investigation is being conducted.
According to Shahdara Deputy Commissioner of Police Rohit Meena, Sushil worked as a supervisor at the Delhi metro depot in East Vinod Nagar. Sushil looked up "how to tie the knot" on his computer after stabbing his family members, according to police, before hanging himself.
"It is a police case, and we would not like to comment on the incident as such," said Anuj Dayal, principal executive director of DMRC. "We will, however, provide any assistance or information required by the authorities," she added, Hindustan Times reported.
