MCD Election 2022 Live: Delhi State Election Commissioner (SEC) Vijay Dev on November 4 announced dates for the long-due Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) polls. Delhi State Election Commission announced that voting for unified three municipal corporations - East Delhi Municipal Corporation, South Delhi Municipal Corporation and North Delhi Municipal Corporation - into one MCD will be held on December 4. Counting of the votes will be held on December 7 and the results will be announced the same day.


Ghonda Assembly Constituency Wards*


In the Ghonda Delhi assembly constituency, there are a total of four wards to go under poll in the 2022 MCD election. The names of the four wards of the Ghonda assembly constituency are Braham Puri, Bhajanpura, Ghonda and Yamuna Vihar.


1. Braham Puri: In the Ghonda Delhi assembly constituency, Braham Puri is ward number two hundred twenty-nine in the Delhi Civic Polls 2022 and has a total population of 66,203. The Braham Puri (Ward 229) MCD seat is reserved for women.


2. Bhajanpura: In the Ghonda Delhi assembly constituency, Bhajanpura is ward number two hundred thirty in the Delhi Civic Polls 2022 and has a total population of 57,248. The Bhajanpura (Ward 230) MCD seat is unreserved.


3. Ghonda: In the Ghonda Delhi assembly constituency, Ghonda is ward number two hundred thirty-one in the Delhi Civic Polls 2022 and has a total population of 65,273. The Ghonda (Ward 231) MCD seat is reserved for women.


4. Yamuna Vihar: In the Ghonda Delhi assembly constituency, Yamuna Vihar is ward number two hundred thirty-two in the Delhi Civic Polls 2022 and has a total population of 53,966. The Yamuna Vihar (Ward 232) MCD seat is unreserved.
