MCD Election 2022 Live: Delhi State Election Commissioner (SEC) Vijay Dev on November 4 announced dates for the long-due Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) polls. Delhi State Election Commission announced that voting for unified three municipal corporations - East Delhi Municipal Corporation, South Delhi Municipal Corporation and North Delhi Municipal Corporation - into one MCD will be held on December 4. Counting of the votes will be held on December 7 and the results will be announced the same day.

Badli Assembly Constituency Wards*


In the Badli Delhi assembly constituency, there are a total of four wards to go under poll in the 2022 MCD election. The names of the four wards of the Badli assembly constituency are Bhalswa, Jahangir Puri, Sarup Nagar, and Samaypur Badli.


1. Bhalswa: In the Badli Delhi assembly constituency, Bhalswa is ward number seventeen in the Delhi Civic Polls 2022 and has a total population of 63,537. The Bhalswa (Ward 17) MCD seat is unreserved.


2. Jahangir Puri: In the Badli Delhi assembly constituency, Jahangir Puri is ward number eighteen in the Delhi Civic Polls 2022 and has a total population of 80,335. The Jahangir Puri (Ward 18) MCD seat is reserved for women.
