Delhi Chief Minister and AAP national convenor Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday met former minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Satyendar Jain who is under treatment at Lok Nayak Jai Prakash Hospital (LNJP) in the national capital due to a spine injury. The former minister was hospitalised after he collapsed in the Tihar jail's bathroom. Kejriwal had blamed Prime Minister Narendra Modi for Jain's condition remarking that "a dictator is bent on killing" the former Delhi health minister who worked day and night to provide good treatment and good health to people in the national capital.
"Met the brave man…..the hero.." Arvind Kejriwal wrote sharing photos of his visit to LNJP hospital to meet Satyendar Jain.
The meeting comes after the Supreme Court on Friday granted interim bail to Satyendar Jain on medical grounds till July 11 in a money laundering case being probed by the Enforcement Directorate. A bench of Justices JK Maheswari and PS Narasimha allowed Jain to undergo treatment in a hospital of his choice and asked him to produce medical records by July 10.
