Delhi Air Quality: The overall air quality remained in the "very poor" category in the ntional capital on Monday morning, as per the System of Air Quality Weather Forecasting and Research (SAFAR). The AQI was recorded at 309, as per SAFAR. In some areas, however, the AQI was recorded in 'poor' category.
As per CPCB data, the air quality in Anand Vihar was recorded at 313, Ashok Vihar 331, DTU 262, IGI Airport 298, ITO 289, Jahangirpuri 326, Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium 296.
The air quality index from 0 to 100 is considered 'good', 100 to 200 'moderate', 200 to 300 'poor', 300 to 400 'very poor' and from 400 to 500 or above 'severe'. The minimum temperature settled at 14.6 degrees Celsius, five notches above the season's average. The relative humidity at 8.30 am was 98 per cent.The weatherman has forecast partly cloudy sky with the maximum temperature expected to settle at 24 degrees Celsius.
On Sunday, the Air Quality of Delhi remained in the 'very poor' category. Delhi's 24-hour Air Quality Index was recorded at 310, according to government data.
Delhi on Sunday recorded a minimum temperature of 10 degrees Celsius and a high of 26.2 degrees Celsius, one notch above the season's average, the IMD said. The weather office has predicted generally cloudy sky with light rain or drizzle by mid-night, following moderate to dense fog from December 4-9.

Last week on Friday, the air quality dipped to the ‘Severe’ category in several areas in the national capital with an overall AQI of 364, as per SAFAR India. AQI at Anand Vihar breached the 400 mark (404) while in Ashok Vihar, the air quality stood at 398. AQI in Jahangirpuri was 396, as of 9 am data of the CPCB.
