New Delhi: Ahead of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party is set to hold 14 road shows in the city. BJP chief JP Nadda will be joined by several Union ministers and Chief Ministers of BJP-ruled states for these road shows.
According to a party statement cited by news agency PTI, the Chief Ministers who will attend the road shows include Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma, Himachal Pradesh CM Jairam Thakur and Pushkar Singh Dhami of Uttarakhand.
Terming it a "Super Sunday", Delhi BJP general secretary Kuljeet Singh Chahal said Nadda will campaign at Sangam Vihar.
BJP is focusing on the region-wise dedicated leaders to gain more and more votes in favour.
Union Ministers, including Rajnath Singh, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Hardeep Singh Puri, Jitendra Singh and Meenakshi Lekhi will also join the road shows in different areas, he told PTI.

He further said that the party's Delhi MPs Harsh Vardhan, Manoj Tiwari, Ramesh Bidhuri, Pravesh Verma, Gautam Gambhir, and Hansraj Hans will also join the road shows.
BJP spokesperson Harish Khurana stated that MCD polls are an opportunity for the people of Delhi to teach a lesson to the "corrupt" Kejriwal government that has failed to solve various problems, including air pollution.
The voting for the 250 wards of the MCD polls will be held on December 4 and the counting of votes will be held on December 7.
Meanwhile, a total of 67 candidates withdrew their nominations on Saturday, leaving 1,349 in the fray. The last date to withdraw nominations was on Saturday. According to the data shared by the State Election Commission, 55 independent candidates withdrew nominations.
Of the 67 withdrawals, 34 were male candidates, the data showed. Six candidates from the Bahujan Samaj Party also withdrew their nominations.
The final tally stands at 1,349, including 709 female candidates.
