Last month, a man was apprehended at the Delhi airport after allegedly engaging in disruptive behaviour, including defecating, urinating, and spitting, aboard an Air India flight from Mumbai to Delhi. A First Information Report (FIR) was filed by the flight captain at the IGI Airport police station in Delhi on June 24, according to ANI.

As per the FIR, during Air India's Flight AIC 866, a passenger behaved in a repulsive manner, causing discomfort to the co-passengers. The cabin crew reportedly witnessed the misconduct and issued a verbal warning to the flight's cabin supervisor. Subsequently, the flight captain was informed of the incident. Upon receiving the complaint, an immediate message was relayed to the authorities, and airport security was instructed to escort the passenger upon arrival.

A senior official from the Delhi Police confirmed the registration of a case under sections 294/510 at the IGI police station, based on the flight captain's complaint. The accused passenger was arrested, presented before a court, and subsequently granted bail. The investigation is ongoing, a senior official of Delhi Police told ANI.
