New Delhi: Accused in Shraddha Walkar’s murder, Aftab Amin Poonawala was brought to Central Bureau of Investigation headquarters in the national capital for voice sampling testing in connection with the case, reported news agency ANI. The voice sampling testing came following a Delhi court order after the Delhi Police got hold of an audio clip in which the accused can be heard fighting with her, reported NDTV.

As per the report, the police is considering the clip as “big evidence” which will go a long way in establishing the motive behind the cold-blooded murder.

Aftab Poonawala had strangled and killed her live-in partner on May18 and chopped her body into 35 pieces which he stacked in a refrigerator, especially bought for this purpose. He would dispose of the chopped pieces in different parts of the city during midnight.

Aftab underwent polygraph test last month and narco analysis earlier this month and the Forensic Science Laboratory said that it had prepared the report of the marco analysis, reported IANS.

"The narco test report is ready and the investigating officer has been informed to collect it," said a senior police official.

The police achieved another breakthrough in the case when the bone pieces recovered from the Mehrauli forest area were established to be of the victim after the DNA extracted from them matched with her father’s samples.
