Theodore J Kaczynski (pronounced kah-ZIN-skee), a.k.a. the "Unabomber", was a man who, between 1978 and 1995, used homemade bombs to attack academics, businessmen, and random civilians. His stated goal was to cause the collapse of the modern social order. His violent rampage ended after what was widely regarded as the longest and most "expensive" manhunt in American history.
