A 20-year-old tribal man decapitated his 24-year-old cousin over a property dispute in Jharkhand's Khunti district, and the accused's buddies snapped a selfie with the severed head, according to the police, news agency PTI reported.
The incidence occurred lately in the Murhu region.

Six persons were detained on Sunday, including the principal culprit and his wife, based on a FIR filed by the deceased's father Dasai Munda on December 2.
According to the FIR, the 55-year-old stated his son Kanu Munda was alone at home on December 1 since everyone else had gone to work in the rice fields. When the complainant returned home in the evening, locals informed him that his nephew Sagar Munda and his pals had taken his son.

Kanu's father filed the FIR the next day after unsuccessful attempts to locate him.
To catch the culprits, a police squad led by Khunti Sub-divisional Police Officer Amit Kumar was created.

Following the arrest of the accused, the torso was discovered in the Kumang Gopla jungle, and the head was discovered 15 kilometres distant in the Dulwa Tungri region, according to Murhu police station officer-in-charge Chudamani Tudu.
According to the police, the accused took a photo with the decapitated head.

Tudu stated that five mobile phones, including the deceased's, two blood-stained sharp weapons, an axe, and an SUV were seized.
The officer claims that the beheading was motivated by a long-standing animosity between the families of the deceased and the accused over a plot of property.
