Anni Dewani Murder: When Young Bride Was Shot Dead On South Africa Honeymoon With Millionaire Husband

Anni Dewani who was murdered on her honeymoon in Cape Town in 2010. Her husband, Shrien Dewani, was accused of plotting the murder but a South African judge dismissed his trial in 2014.

It has been more than 13 years since Anni Diwani, a Swedish woman of Indian origin, was shot dead on November 13, 2010, while on her honeymoon in South Africa. Anni and her husband, businessman Shrien Dewani, a British national of Indian origin, were allegedly abducted while on a night-time drive through Gugulethu, a township in Cape Town. While Shrien was released unharmed, Anni was found in the backseat of their taxi with a bullet wound to her neck. Shrien was accused of orchestrating the
