As 11 AAP MLAs were ordered to be marshalled out of the Delhi Assembly by Speaker Vijender Gupta on Tuesday, old videos of Gupta being marshalled out of the House have resurfaced. Sharing the videos, BJP supporters said that tables have turned. Many said it was "Karma at work" that the AAP MLAs found themselves being marshalled out on the orders of Vijender Gupta.
The AAP MLAs were ousted for allegedly disrupting the assembly session when Lieutenant Governor Vinai Saxena was addressing the members. The opposition MLAs were raising Jai Bhim slogans and protesting the removal of Bhagat Singh and Ambedkar's pictures. Marshals were called in to remove the MLAs from the house. Former Delhi CM Atishi, former Minister Gopal Rai, and two-term Delhi Cantonment MLA Virender Singh Kadian were among those who were suspended.
Vijender Gupta was marshalled out on multiple occasions since the AAP assumed charge in 2015 for allegedly disrupting the proceedings of the assembly. The BJP even staged protests outside the Delhi Assembly over the ouster of its MLAs.
