Despite numerous accidents in India caused by vehicles driving on the wrong side of the road, several drivers continue to ignore the possible tragic consequences, putting their own lives and those of the innocent passengers and commuters at risk.

Recently, a video of a school bus driver in Greater Noida driving on the wrong side of the road surfaced on social media, sparking anger amongst viewers who demanded strict action against him.

The school bus driver reportedly drives on the wrong side of the road routinely.

Sharing his video while driving on the wrong side of the road, an X user Dinesh Gautam wrote: "This school bus is moving on wrong side putting lives of innocent children at risk. This is happening everyday. This is the School bus of Aster Public school".

He also mentioned the registration number of the bus, along with the location "Gulshan Bellina Road, Greater Noida West.”

As per media reports, the video appears to be filmed near Eco Village 2 in Greater Noida. It shows the school bus driver of Aster Public School driving in the wrong lane, risking the lives of students on board and that of other commuters.

The man who shared the video said that the driver drives in the wrong lane everyday.

He also replied to his post on X and urged the authorities to take strict action against the bus driver and suspend his driving licence.

"Please take strict action. We do not want to see another accident which happened on Delhi Meerut Expressway. Registration of the bus should be cancelled and license of the driver should be suspended," he added.

The Delhi-Meerut Expressway accident took place in 2023 when a school bus was travelling in the wrong direction, crashing into an SUV. Six members of a family were killed in the accident and two others were seriously injured.
