Many students from a prominent school in Uttarakhand’s Haridwar cause chaos on the roads after a farewell party, performing dangerous stunts, bursting firecrackers and firing gunshots in the air. A video of the incident, taken by a partygoer has gone viral. This has prompted authorities to launch an investigation into the matter.
The video shows about 70 individuals, primarily students, who assembled near the BHEL stadium before forming a convoy of cars. The group caused significant disruption by performing stunts on the road, setting off firecrackers, and firing shots into the air.
Some of the students in group were still in their school uniforms when they engaged in these activities. While certain students stood on the roof of moving cars to make videos.

In the video, a person carrying a gun turns to look at the camera points the gun to the sky and fires. It also shows students leaning out of windows as the convoy of cars moves in a line.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Pramendra Singh Dobal directed strict action against those involved in the act.
A case was subsequently filed against unidentified individuals under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyay Sanhita (BNS). Efforts are currently underway to identify the culprits using the viral videos as evidence.
"A video surfaced on social media showing a group of around 70 individuals in 15 to 20 cars creating a disturbance and attempting to disrupt public order. We have taken note of the matter and registered a case under appropriate legal provisions," a senior police official was reported as saying by India Today.
The students were involved in the chaos after attending a farewell party at a hotel in the Sidcul area. Local authorities have assured that all those responsible will be identified soon, and appropriate legal action will be taken against them.
