Mahoba News: In a unique interaction at the Maurya Petrol Pump in Charakhari, a petrol pump worker surprised the local MLA with an unexpected plea. Brijbhushan Rajput, the Charakhari MLA, was taken aback when Akhilendra Khare, a 44-year-old pump attendant, candidly requested that the legislator help him find a bride. Khare, who claimed to have voted for Rajput in the recent elections, insisted that the MLA’s victory had been with his support — and now he hoped for the same backing in his personal life.

The lighthearted exchange, captured on camera, quickly went viral, sparking widespread discussion across social media about Khare's request and the MLA’s response.

The interaction unfolded as Rajput pulled in to refuel his vehicle, only to be approached by Khare, who shared his frustration at remaining a single. With genuine humour and a touch of hope, Khare told Rajput: “I was born on Karva Chauth, but there’s no one to observe it for me,” underlining his plea with the fact that he had cast his vote for Rajput.

The MLA himself shared the video on his Facebook page.

In the video, Rajput is seen initially bemused by the unconventional request. In a brief exchange, he asked Khare about his preferences and financial stability. assuring him he would help find a suitable match soon.

Rajput’s response seemed to appease the pump worker, as the MLA vowed to support him in his quest for a partner.

This interaction has stirred a mix of amusement and empathy online, with users both cheering for Khare's optimism and humorously commenting on the power of electoral promises.

Users joined the online conversation, with many of them requesting the MLA to take the man's plea seriously and help him get married.
