A spectacular drone show that was scheduled to be held from January 24 to 26 illuminated the Maha Kumbh Mela area in the Pryagraj district of Uttar Pradesh on Friday evening. During the show, the heritage of Sanatan tradition has been showcased through modern technology.






The dazzling coordination of lights and music that mesmerises the show at the Maha Kumbh depicts various events from the 'Samudra Manthan' (cosmic churning of the ocean), including the moment when Lord Shiva performs the 'Vish Paan' (consumption of poison).






According to a report by news agency PTI, the show is hosted by the Tourism Department of Uttar Pradesh in Sector-7 of Mahakumbh Nagar. And, the rehearsal for the drone show was conducted on Thursday evening (January 23).


The tourism official stated on Thursday that stringent security measures have been put in place during the rehearsal to ensure the event's smooth execution. The local administration, police, and tourism department officials have also collaborated to review the security and technical arrangements at the venue, in order to establish seamless coordination.


Seers From Russia And Ukraine Visit Mahakumbh 


In addition, seers from Russia and Ukraine came together at the Mahakumbh in Prayagraj on Thursday morning to perform 'kirtan' and prayers, showcasing spiritual harmony. They chanted devotional hymns and participated in traditional rituals, highlighting the Mahakumbh's role as a platform for cultural exchange and universal values.


Speaking to India TV, Mahant Sanat Kumar said, "The Guru Parampara Puja of Lord Dattatreya was organised, followed by Aarti and Bhajan of Lord Shiva and Lord Ganesha. Some guests also participated, singing bhajans dedicated to Lord Shiva and Lord Rama. This is a symbol of unity, which shows that Indian and Western cultures can work together."


"It is a message that all people can live together, and it shows that this is what Sanatan Dharma means - unity and cooperation," he said.
