Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez and Prime Minister Narendra Modi are likely to hold a roadshow in Vadodara on October 28. The two sides are also expected to exchange a Memorandum of Understanding in various key sectors.

From Vadodara, PM Modi will leave for Amreli where he will address a public rally.

While there has been no official declaration of PM Sanchez's visit to India, the Vadodara Municipal Corporation (VMC) has started preparing for the visit.

The development over the possible visit came after work began on the road leading to the Tata-Airbus facility, which will manufacture the C-295 transport aircraft, according to a report by the Times of India.

As per the report, the manufacturing unit was completed and it was ready for inauguration.

The civic corporation has started working on enhancing the dividers, footpaths, traffic circles, and other elements on the potential routes of the convoys.

Earlier this month, the VMC standing committee cleared a proposal seeking approval for all works related to the visit of the dignitaries. The proposal was not part of the regular business of the meeting and was included in the supplementary agenda.
