A farewell party of a man turned tragic after his wife passed away unexpectedly. The incident took place in Rajasthan's Kota.

Devendra Sandal, a manager at Central Warehousing Corporation, opted for an early retirement to take care of his wife, Tina, who was a heart patient and had been unwell for some time. However, he had to witness the sudden demise of his wife as she collapsed at his farewell party.

The video of the incident surfaced online in which the couple that lived in Dadabari area of Shastri Nagar, can be seen smiling for the cameras. She has a marigold garland around her neck and is holding a flower bouquet in her hand. Her husband is also standing next to her.

However, suddenly she starts feeling dizzy and tells her husband about her health. "Mujhe chakkar aa rahe hain (I am feeling dizzy)," she says to her husband, who then eases her back into her chair. He is also seen massaging her back to make her feel better.

"Paani la dena, paani (Get water, please, water)," her husband and a few others present at the party say as the woman sits back in the chair, visibly unwell.

She was also seen swaying as someone asked her to smile for pictures. The woman then falls face forward onto the table, which is strewn with rose petals, while her husband stands up trying to hold her. But she had collapsed by then.

Someone in the room can be heard shouting, "Kya ho gaya (What happened)".

"Chakkar aa rahe hain, chakkar, paani pilao, paani (She is feeling dizzy, get her water)," a chorus went up.
