A beauty parlour owner who went missing after closing her salon was killed by a man known to her and her chopped body parts were found in a plastic bag after two days.

The victim, Anita Chaudhary, went missing on October 28 and her husband filed a police complaint after she did not return at night, India Today reported. The accused had a shop in the same building where the beauty parlour was located. Police have also found the man's call details from Anita's mobile phone.

Anita had left the place in an auto, India Today quoted Sardarpura police station officer Dilip Singh Rathore as saying. On being questioned, the autorickshaw driver told police that he took her to the place where the accused stays. Police found the accused man's wife, who informed that she had been at her sister's home for the past three days.

"When she returned to her home, her husband told her that Anita had been killed and her body was buried behind the house," the police officer said.

Police got a bulldozer and dug up a 12-foot pit during which the torso, hands and legs of the woman's body were found wrapped separately in two plastic bags. The accused is absconding and the police are conducting raids at different locations in Jodhpur to nab him.
Anita's son alleged that the killer had "deceived" her. The victim's body has been sent to AIIMS for a post-mortem examination.
