PM UDAY Application: The Lieutenant Governor of Delhi, VK Saxena, has instructed the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) to dispose of pending PM-UDAY applications in mission mode, along with the registration of new applications for the regularisation of unauthorised colonies in the city.

During his visit to unauthorised colonies, Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena received feedback from the locals regarding red tape, based on which he called a meeting on Thursday to review the progress of the Pradhan Mantri-Unauthorized Colonies in Delhi Awas Adhikar Yojana (PM-UDAY scheme). While presiding over the meeting, he instructed the DDA to immediately resolve the problems of the people and organise special camps in unauthorised colonies for the next month, from November 30 to December 31 this year, to provide facilities to new applicants.

The Lieutenant Governor, VK Saxena, said that each camp will function on the lines of a single window and the documents will be uploaded to the portal, and the verification, notarisation and other works will also be disposed of on the spot. Regional Tehsildars and SDMs will also be present at these camps to resolve revenue-related matters.

To ensure that the problems of applicants are resolved immediately at these camps, 22 Dainik officers and three IAS officers will be appointed, along with 122 PM-UDAY Mitras at each location to increase the reach of the people, so that they can meet the applicants before and during the camps and provide them with all kinds of information and facilities.

These services will be provided at the camp

1. Receiving applications for new registration
2. Resolving deficiencies in the application on the spot
3. Assistance and facilities for submitting the final application and obtaining the conveyance deed/authority slip
