Two men have been arrested after they posed as policemen at a pub in the Gardens Galleria mall and ordered drinks and food. The incident took place at the Illuzion Club in the mall located in Sector 37 on Sunday evening. The men got a bill of ₹10,367, which they refused to pay, Additional Deputy Commissioner Police Manish Mishra said. They also misbehaved with one of the staffers following which the manager dialled the police helpline 112.

A police team reached the spot and took the two people into custody and a written complaint was submitted by the club’s manager against them. "The two suspects were arrested on Sunday and identified as Sachin Yadav from Faridabad, Haryana, and Nitin Sharma of Delhi's Meethapur," Hindustan Times reported quoting a senior police officer.

The incident comes months after two people allegedly stabbed and injured a restaurant owner and his employee in the Badalpur area of Greater Noida after they delayed serving salad to the customers.

"They were drunk and one of them was carrying a knife. They asked for salad after ordering dinner. When the salad was slightly delayed in getting served, the two attacked the waiter Amit with the knife. I went to intervene and the two attacked me with the knife as well," the complainant said.

"One of the staffers called the police and handed over the customer to the police. The waiter got stabbed on his face and hands, while I was stabbed in the chest and had to take six stitches. We submitted a complaint at the police station the next day on Thursday," the restaurant owner had said.
