UP: 3 Dead After Car Hits Pole On Noida-Greater Noida Expressway Near Amity University

Noida News: Three men died in a car crash on the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway when their car hit an advertising pole.

Three men lost their lives after their car hit an advertising pole on the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway near Amity University of Noida Sector 126 on Monday. The deceased have been identified as Ishan (19), Aryan (22), and Vinay Jogi (23). Ishan and Aryan were brothers who lived in Palm Olympia, Gaur City, Sector 16. Vinay, a resident of Baraula and a third-year student at Asian Law College, was their friend, according to Station House Officer of Sector 126, Bhupendra Singh.

According to India Express, Police said that further investigations are on and the bodies have been sent for postmortem in Noida’s Sector 94.

Deputy Commissioner of Police, Rambadan Singh, stated that after receiving an alert at around 7:30 am about an accident near Amity University, police found a Tata Tiago car that had collided with the advertising pole after losing control. He added, "We took the three individuals to the nearby district hospital, but they were declared dead upon arrival."

Singh also mentioned that Ishan and Aryan were the sons of Sunil Kashyap, a Junior Engineer with Noida Authority.

3 Killed In Bihar Road Accident

In a separate incident, a road accident in Bihar has also come to light where three people lost their lives, and two others were injured when their vehicle veered off the road and fell into a ditch in the Balrampur block of Katihar district on Monday, according to police, news agency PTI reported.

The identified deceased in the incident were Mohd Muslim (55), Muwazil Ansari (52), and Muthabul (55). Villagers assisted in pulling the tempo out of the ditch.

According to PTI, a statement from the Katihar police informed that the tempo, which was overloaded, went out of control at a sharp turn near Balrampur-Telta. All deceased were local farmers.

“Three people died on their way to hospital... the remaining two, including the driver, have been admitted to the nearest hospital where their condition is reported to be stable,” it said.

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has expressed his condolences over the deaths.
