The incident took place at plot number 124 in Udyog Cantt, where Strawman, a company known for manufacturing paper straws for Frooti, operates its facility.

Noida’s Chief Fire Officer, Pradeep Kumar, told ANI that his team received the alert at 2:57 am. “The nearest fire station is just 500 meters away,” he noted.

Firefighters arrived swiftly, but found the flames had already spread throughout the building by the time they got there. Despite the scale of the fire, emergency crews brought it under control and ensured there was no loss of life or injuries.

Police are now working to determine the cause of the blaze, which swept through the facility while most staff were away.

Just weeks earlier, a similar fire broke out in a factory at Gyan Mohalla, Gandhi Nagar in Shahdara, Delhi, on September 21. Narrow lanes hampered access for fire vehicles, but local teams managed to contain the flames, again with no reports of injury or loss of life. Fire Officer Bhimsen described the scene as dire but credited rapid response efforts for preventing casualties, ANI reported.
