BJP leader Nayab Singh Saini was chosen as the leader of the Haryana BJP Legislature Party on Wednesday. He will take oath as the chief minister of the state for the second time tomorrow, October 17. Saini, who was made the CM in March 2024 before the Lok Sabha elections, won the Ladwa seat in Kurukshetra district.





After being chosen as leader of Haryana BJP legislative party, Saini said, "The people of Haryana have placed their faith in the policies of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and formed the BJP government for the third time and the people have resolved to carry forward the vision of Prime Minister Modi to make India developed by 2047."





Home Minister Amit Shah who was present at the meeting said the "double-engine government" will be in power in Haryana for 15 years. "Nayab Singh Saini has been elected as leader of the legislative party. We will again form the government in Haryana, the double-engine government will be here for 15 years. In the leadership of Manohar Lal Khattar, many development works were carried out in Haryana," Shah said.


PM Narendra Modi and senior BJP leaders are expected to attend the oath-taking ceremony in Panchkula.


BJP MLA Anil Vij said all the MLAs unanimously elected Saini as the leader of the BJP Legislative Party. "I have fulfilled all the responsibilities entrusted to me by the party. Tomorrow's program will be historic," said Vij.
