Days after the shocking murder of 25-year-old tennis coach Radhika Yadav in Gurugram, a co-actor from a music video she appeared in has spoken out from Dubai, revealing new insights into her aspirations beyond the sports world.

Inam-ul-Haq, an independent artist who featured alongside Radhika in the romantic track Karwaan, said she expressed a clear desire to work in the film industry. “...She (Radhika) came to the shooting (of the music video) with her mother. On the set, she also mentioned that her father liked the song,” he recalled, suggesting she had her family's approval at the time.

Radhika Yadav's Music Video

The music video, titled Karwaan, was released under LLF Records in 2024. Radhika appeared in the lead role, while Inam was cast at the last moment.

However, the song didn’t receive the popularity the creators had hoped for. “When the song did not get the expected popularity, I thought my song got wasted,” Inam said, adding that he has decided not to delete the video for now.

He also noted that Radhika deactivated and reactivated her Instagram account multiple times.

As of now, Inam says he has not been contacted by police but is ready to cooperate if needed.

Deepak Yadav Taken Into Custody

Radhika was shot dead by her father, Deepak Yadav, inside their Sushant Lok home on Thursday. Police say he fired five bullets, three of which struck her. He was arrested shortly after and confessed to the crime.

Initial investigations suggest Deepak was upset over taunts from villagers about living off his daughter’s earnings from her tennis academy. Police are also examining whether her involvement in the music video played a role in the conflict.
