Gujarat Rain Viral Videos: Gujarat is experiencing heavy rainfall and consequent floods. Amid the massive floods, crocodiles have surfaced in various localities across Vadodara district. The images of crocodiles emerging from the localities of the district have gone viral on social media.
In one of the videos, a crocodile was spotted resting on the roof of a house in the Akota stadium area of the city on Thursday.
Another video showed a crocodile in the waterlogged Makarpura Jambuva locality, where it was seen swimming in the water and approaching a house.
In a post shared by, Desh Gujarat, on social media platform X, a crocodile was also seen emerging at the MS University's Art Faculty of Gujarat.<

Overflow Of Vishwamitri River
Vadodara experienced severe flooding in many low-lying areas after the Vishwamitri River overflowed, inundating residential neighbourhoods, buildings, roads, and vehicles. Due to the floods, over 3,000 people in and around Vadodara were relocated to safer locations by the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) and the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF), as per News 18.
The river crossed the danger mark of 25 feet on Tuesday morning after heavy showers and the release of water from dams.
Meanwhile, the Army was deployed for relief and rescue operations in the city, with six Army columns currently involved, according to Gujarat Health Minister Rushikesh Patel. Rain-related incidents have claimed more than 25 lives over three days in the coastal state, and around 17,800 people have been evacuated from flood-hit areas as heavy rains continued for the fourth consecutive day on Wednesday.
The IMD has forecast extremely heavy rainfall over Saurashtra and Kachchh until tomorrow, with light to moderate rain expected in Gujarat, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Konkan, and Goa.
