Four people have been arrested by Ghaziabad Police for reportedly killing a man and using his skull for alleged occult practices over the directions of two "tantriks" in the aspiration that they would receive at least "Rs 50 to 60 crore" after performing the rituals.

As per the India Today report, police confirmed that the accused hailing from Bihar were employed as e-rickshaw drivers in Delhi. Two individuals confessed to a friend that they had learned black magic rituals on YouTube, which they believed could make them wealthy if they performed a ceremony requiring a human skull. The arrested suspects were identified as Vikas (28), also known as Parmatma, along with Narendra, Pawan Kumar, and Pankaj.

The crime traces back to June 2024, when police discovered a headless body in a drain in Ghaziabad. An investigation was initiated, and in August, two suspects Vikas Gupta (24), alias Mota, and Dhananjay (25) were apprehended.

During questioning, Mota and Dhananjay revealed that Parmatma had approached them to kill someone and retrieve the skull for black magic rituals. Police stated that Parmatma, who already had a Rs 25,000 bounty on him, masterminded the crime. The suspects admitted to murdering Raju Shah (29) at Parmatma's behest.
