Delhi's Narela saw another murder on Friday when four boys stabbed a man named Himanshu. The police were alerted around 6:30 PM on Friday that a man had been murdered in a flat at Hind Apartments in Narela's Pocket-18. When the police team reached the spot, the police saw that a 26-year-old man named Himanshu was lying in a pool of blood. There were multiple knife wounds on Himanshu's body.
On investigation, the police found that Himanshu had been living with his friend Sumit Kaushik for the last four months. Sumit's son Yash told the police that at the time of the incident, four people barged into their flat and stabbed Himanshu with a knife. After committing the murder, the four suspects fled the spot.
Yash further said that one of the accused, Ravi, had borrowed Rs 45,000 from Sumit. Himanshu had gone to Ravi's house to get the money back. At that time Himanshi threatened Ravi's mother. Angered at this, Ravi, along with three of his friends, hatched the plot to kill Himanshu.
The police immediately formed a team and claimed to have solved the case within two hours, with the arrest of Ravi, Sahil, and Ashish. The fourth accused, a minor, has also been taken into custody. The police team is now interrogating all of them to find out more details.
