During the power cut, health and safety officials recommend wearing light, breathable clothing, staying indoors during extreme heat or rainfall, and using battery-operated fans to stay cool. People are urged to stay hydrated and keep essential devices like mobile phones and power banks fully charged in advance.
With the possibility of power interruptions, mobile users are advised to conserve battery by lowering screen brightness and disabling background data. Residents are also encouraged to stay updated through SMS alerts from the electricity board or by using battery-powered radios for news updates.
