Renowned educator Khan Sir hosted a grand reception in Patna on Monday after his wedding in Patna. He recently announced his marriage through a private video message addressed to his students.
Known for his distinctive teaching style and widespread popularity, Khan Sir chose to maintain a low-key ceremony, in keeping with his preference for a quiet personal life. Videos that surfaced on social media showed Khan Sir escorting his wife to the stage.
The bride wore a heavily embroidered red lehenga and kept her face covered under a matching red veil. Meanwhile, Khan Sir chose a formal look for the special occasion, donning a black suit, a pink shirt, and a red tie.
Political and Academic Dignitaries In Attendance
The reception was attended by a host of notable figures from Bihar's political and academic circles. Among the guests were Bihar Governor Arif Mohammad Khan, Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary, Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav, Education Minister Sunil Kumar, Sumit Kumar, Nitish Mishra, Union Minister of State Raj Bhushan Nishad, and former minister Mukesh Sahni.
One of the videos from the event showed a brief interaction between the educator and RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav. When Yadav asked Khan Sir how he planned the wedding, the educator replied, "Aap se hi seekhe hain (Have learnt from you)".
Khan Sir had kept his wedding under wraps until recently. He tied the knot quietly in May, a decision he explained to his students during a live class. Addressing the subdued nature of the ceremony, he said, "Meri shaadi ki tareekh tay ho gayi thi, isi dauraan Pakistan aur Bharat ke beech yudh shuru ho gaya, jis karan saade tareeke se shaadi ki gayi. Mere chhote bhaiyon ne maa se keh kar meri shaadi kara di aur maa ki baat taali nahi jaa sakti this."
