Maharashtra has been on the boil over the alleged sexual assault of two four-year-old girls in a school by a 23-year-old male cleaning staffer, Akshay Shinde. The outrage was evident in Shinde's village as well where people stormed into his house and vandalised the belongings.

Shinde, along with his parents and a younger brother lives in a 'chawl' in Badlapur's Kharwai village. On Wednesday, the villagers barged into his house and vandalised the property.

They also evicted Shinde's family members from the house and forced them to leave the village, reported ABP Majha.

He studied till class 10th and worked as a security guard before being employed as a cleaning staff member at the school where the alleged incident took place.

When the villagers barged into Shinde's house, some children's toys were found from there. The special investigation team, formed by the Maharashtra police to probe the incident is likely to investigate the toys as well, the report added.

Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has assured action against the school, adding that the case will be fast-tracked and the guilty won't be spared.
