All 18 Delhi Metro stations were reopened for passenger services on Sunday, a day after the Cockroach Janta Party called off the protest. The stations were closed for four days due to security arrangements linked to the CJP protest at Jantar Mantar.
The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) also announced on X on Saturday that normal entry and exit had resumed at all affected stations.
The development comes after Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan resigned, following which the CJP called off its agitation and protesters began dispersing from the Jantar Mantar area.
18 Stations Back In Operation
The stations that resumed normal operations are Lok Kalyan Marg, Rajiv Chowk, Patel Chowk, Ramakrishna Ashram Marg, Barakhambha Road, Supreme Court, Seva Teerth, Janpath, Mandi House, Central Secretariat, ITO, Delhi Gate, Indraprastha, Khan Market, Jor Bagh, Shivaji Stadium, Jhandewalan and New Delhi.
These stations had remained shut since earlier this week as authorities tightened security in central Delhi amid large gatherings of protesters.

Protests End After Minister's Exit
The CJP had been staging a sit-in at Jantar Mantar since June 20, demanding accountability over the alleged NEET-UG 2026 paper leak, irregularities in the CBSE's on-screen marking process, and broader reforms to the conduct of public examinations.
The protest ended after Pradhan resigned on Saturday, saying his decision was not about "individual prestige" and was intended to prevent "anti-national forces" from exploiting the situation at Jantar Mantar and elsewhere in the country.
With the withdrawal of the protest, security restrictions in central Delhi were eased, allowing the Metro network to restore normal services across the affected stations.
